According to Baaghi TV, the judicial remand of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, owner of Jang-Geo Group, has been extended till June 29.

Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman’s case was heard in the accountability court, the administrative judge of the accountability court Jawad Al-Hassan heard the case. During the hearing, the court questioned whether Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman was found to be admitted to the hospital. Mir Shakeel’s lawyer said that Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Court grants 12-day physical remand to Mir Shakeel

The court summoned the report of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman’s reference from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials. NAB prosecutor Asim Mumtaz appeared in the court on behalf of NAB. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 29.

It is to be noted that Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman has also filed a petition in the Lahore High Court for bail. At the last hearing, the NAB had opposed the release of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman.
