Mobile app developed to diagnose coronavirus from cough

A number of advanced testing kits have been developed to diagnose the global epidemic of coronavirus, but now a mobile app has been developed to diagnose coronavirus from cough.

According to a foreign news agency, a German technology company is working on an app that will record the sound of a cough and analyze it to determine if the person coughing is infected with the coronavirus.

Under the app, users will be asked to record their cough and sneeze, after which the app will diagnose the virus by comparing these sounds with those of COVID-19 patients.

On the other hand, the company claims that the app will automatically recognize all information about users’ age, gender and health after listening to people’s recordings.
