Model Sadaf Kanwal’s change of plans after marriage
Lahore, 5th July: Pakistan’s top model Sadaf Kanwal has announced that she will not perform on item songs anymore.
Famous model Sadaf Kanwal got married to the actor Shahrooz Sabzwari at the end of May this year, after which she got backlash from the public. Shahrooz Sabzwari came to rescue and released an explanatory video of himself on social media.
In an interview given to Independent Urdu, Sadaf Kanwal spoke openly on the issue of criticism of her marriage to Shahrooz Sabzwari, including her popular item song ‘Kaif-o-Suroor’ released in 2017.

The actress said that she considers her performance on the item song ‘Kaif-o-Suroor’ as the best performance of hers so far and that the song was the essential part of the movie ‘Na Maloom Afraad 2’.

In response to a question, Sadaf Kanwal said that Shahrooz Sabzwari has no problem with her performance on the item song and to date, he has not spoken anything wrong about that song.
Shahrooz Sabzwari also declared Sadaf Kanwal’s ‘Kaif-o-Suroor’ as his favorite and said that he believes that performances should be done on the required item numbers. Sabzwari described Sadaf Kanwal as a strong-minded girl and also called her the best actress.
From an outsider with no connections in Bollywood to a global star
Sadaf Kanwal mentioned during the interview that now she would never do the item number again as she is a married woman.
However, her item song ‘Kaif-o-Suroor’ was much appreciated among the public and her bold clothes and dance moves got the media attention. Sadaf exhibited her stirring belly dancing moves in the song and considered herself as the ‘Queen of Item Numbers’ back in 2017.
Kanwal also talked about her upcoming telefilm ‘Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke’ and revealed that Shahroze and she are playing the role of husband and wife in the said film and the film will release on ARY on Eid-ul-Adha.

It should be noted that Sadaf Kanwal and Shahrooz Sabzwari announced their marriage on May 31 this year on social media. Shahroze announced his divorce with the actress Syra Shahroze in March 2020 and got married to Sadaf Kanwal.
Syra and Shahroze got married in 2012 and have a daughter, however, his affair with Sadaf created a rift between the couple and ultimately they parted ways.
