Monsoon Rain Hits Different Parts of the Country

Islamabad (25th July, 2019): Heavy monsoon rains followed by thunderstorms, expected across Pakistan .

According to reports of Baaghi TV, rain and thunderstorms expected in Rawalpndi, Islamabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Hazara, Malakand, Peshawar, Mardan and Kashmir in the next 12 hours.

Heavy rains to continue in different parts across Pakistan, including Rawalpindi and Islamabad since Wednesday. The MET department has confirmed, that the rainstorms are expected for three days approximately. Moreover, scattered rains and windstorms, with moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan as well as Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and Gilgit Baltistan.

Additionally, MET department has confirmed minimum temperatures for major cities as follows:

  • Islamabad 23°C
  • Lahore 29°C
  • Karachi 30°C
  • Peshawar 31°C
  • Quetta, Gilgit, and Muzaffarabad 21°C
  • Murree 18°C
