More than 500 new cases of COVID-19 in Pakistan, increase in deaths

LAHORE (13th Oct, 2020): According to Baaghi TV, there have been 7 deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, while 531 new patients have emerged.

The total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has risen to 6,588, according to the latest figures released by the NCOC, which compiled the statistics of corona virus. However, the total number of patients has reached 319,848.

The corona virus has killed 2,264 people in Punjab, 2,556 in Sindh, 1,264 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 189 in Islamabad, 146 in Balochistan, 91 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 78 in Azad Kashmir.

The number of Corona cases in Islamabad has risen to 17,428. 100,892 in Punjab, 140,534 in Sindh, 38,367 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,541 in Balochistan, 3,955 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 3,131 cases in Azad Kashmir.

According to the NCOC, 34,609 coronavirus patients have been cured in Pakistan, leaving 8,651 under treatment.

There are facilities for corona patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for corona patients in hospitals is 1,920. There are 132 testing laboratories operating in the country and trace, test and quarantine strategies are working effectively in numerous cities.
