Pakistan Army spokesman DG ISPR Maj. Gen. Asif Ghafoor has said that national sentiment is very important for defense of the country.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, talking to private TV, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that the government takes care of the families of the martyrs according to their resources. Families of martyred soldiers are taken care of more than the families of martyred officers. He added, family of a shaheed is a priority of Pakistan Armed forces.
DG ISPR said that the martyrdom of the martyrs is not limited to force only, unfortunately the world has not paid much attention to the issue of Kashmir, there is no country, people and forces like Pakistan. There are more than 81,000 heroes and martyrs, the whole nation made sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

Major General Asif Ghafoor added that the main event of September 6 will be in GHQ. Conscientious nations always remember their martyrs, it is the failure of our nation to remember the martyrs for one, we must cherish them the year round. Mothers Send their Sons to Pakistan Army with the Spirit of Martyrdom.
Pakistan has always stood with Kashmir and will continue to do so.
DG ISPR further added, that the army has been in a state of war for 72 years because of Kashmir. Line-of-control firing is in progress, aggressiveness on the Line of Control is being strongly promoted, Indian forces make civilian population more intimidated, our spirit will never diminish.
Major General Asif Ghafoor further said that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa sees Pakistan Army praised wherever he goes and that it is an honour for him to see Pakistan Army excel.
The war of 1965, the anniversary of the national history, the new history of the Shujaat 54 years ago, the enemy was consumed on every high day, the nation’s defense will be celebrated with enthusiasm today. Martyrdom of the martyrs and solidarity with Kashmiris will be held in GHQ Rawalpindi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa will address, there will also be events at Naval and Pak Air Force headquarters.
The defense of Pakistan cannot be underestimated by the imminent, security threats.
The main event at the GHQ will be held during the day rather than the evening, in which only the relatives of the martyrs will attend. Defense equipment will be exhibited on the occasion across various cities, while air shows will also be held in different cities across Pakistan.

The DG ISPR said that every martyr should be remembered. He even added #KashmirBanegaPakistan [Kashmir will become Pakistan].
All Federal and Provincial Ministers, Chief Ministers, Governors, members of the National and Provincial Assemblies will visit the Martyrs’ House today and pay tribute to the sacrifices of the great soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in defense of the motherland. PM Khan himself will carry forward the national duty of martyrs.
Special prayers will be made for the security of the country, as well as for the elevation of the martyrs and the struggle for Kashmiris to achieve independence.
