Motorway Rape Case: Accused arrested pleads guilty
Lahore, 14th September: One of the accused arrested has pleaded guilty in the Lahore Motorway Rape Case.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, significant progress has come to light in the Lahore Motorway abuse case.
Accused Shafqat arrested from Depalpur has confessed to the crime. Shafqat, 33, belongs to Haroonabad Tehsil, Bahawalnagar District. According to police, Shafqat’s SIM was being used by his father.
Motorway Rape Case: Accused Abbas makes his apology
Shafqat Ali told the police that after the robbery, we had raped the woman. The main accused is Abid Malhi.
According to the police, Shafqat has been involved in the incident with Abid. The police suspected that Shafqat was also involved in the incident. The police had arrested Shafqat from Depalpur area. Today, he has confessed to the crime.
During the interrogation, accused Waqar Al-Hassan gave information about Shafqat. Accused Waqar al-Hassan had turned himself into CIA police.
Significant progress in Motorway Abuse Case, another suspect arrested
Earlier, the accused Waqar’s brother-in-law Abbas also appeared before the police in Sheikhupura. Abbas was using SIM in the name of accused Waqar.
It may be recalled that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar and IG Punjab Inam Ani had identified two accused Abid and Waqarul Hassan involved in the motorway abuse case.
On the other hand, the main accused in the case of rape of a woman on the motorway has not been arrested yet. Police also detained Abid’s brother-in-law and other relatives. Raids are underway to arrest the main accused.
