Motorway Rape Case: PEMRA bans the coverage

Lahore, 2nd October: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned the coverage of Lahore Motorway Abuse Case.

According to reports, PEMRA has stopped the coverage of the Motorway Abuse Case and said that the life of the said woman is in great agony due to this act and it is not a good aspect.

PEMRA says that one woman was abused and the other when the case is repeatedly discussed in the media, it is no less than mental torture for the woman.

PEMRA says that it is not this woman alone but other women in the society are also suffering. PEMRA says that now the practice of media coverage in such cases should end.
