Movie Legend Dilip Kumar Laid to Rest

Lahore, 7th July: Bollywood’s legendary actor Dilip Kumar was laid to rest in Mumbai today evening.

According to reports, Dilip Kumar was laid to rest at Juhu Qabarastan (Graveyard) in Mumbai Wednesday evening at 5 pm local time.

Draped with the Indian flag, the legend of the entertainment industry was given a full state honor today before he was taken to his final resting place.

Dilip Kumar’s spokesperson Faisal Farooqui updated fans and followers via his official Twitter handle about the details of Dilip Kumar’s burial, “Burial today at 5:00 PM. Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai.”

According to reports, the legendary actor passed today in the early hours at the age of 98. He is left behind with a loving wife Saira Banu and memories of his film career that spanned over 5 decades.

News of his death has shaken the entire film fraternity both in India and Pakistan. Many celebrities have penned down heartfelt notes and tributes.

While many big names went to the late actor’s wife Saira Banu to offer their condolences at such a big loss.

It is to be noted that Dilip Kumar has been admitted to a local hospital in Mumbai during the last week after he complained of shortness of breath.
