Miracle in Cell no.7 ( 2013)
Though this is a Turkish movie, it is worth a watch. It is about a mentally challenged father who ends up in the prison and is about to be executed. The scenes are so realistic that even the toughest of hearts will cry throughout the movie. It is a 2-hour long film and after the first hour, it is nearly impossible to stop tears from flowing down the eyes.
The pursuit of Happyness (2006)
This film is based on a true story where a homeless man tries to provide for his son, Will Smith and Jaden Smith act so beautifully that the viewer can feel every pain their character is facing.

The infamous romantic tragedy is a favorite of many all around the globe because of its amazing description of the tragic incident that took place. The movie featuring Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet in the legendary roles is based on a true story. The end makes the viewers teary-eyed.
