Lahore, 10th September: Senior anchorperson Mubashar Lucman attended the Oath-taking Ceremony of Kasur Press Club Officials today.

According to a Baaghi TV report, a swearing-in ceremony was held at Kasur Press Club in which senior journalist and anchorperson Mubasher Lucman attended as a special guest.

Lucman was warmly welcomed on the occasion of the oath-taking ceremony, where the flower petals were showered on him.

It may be mentioned that the Press Club elections were held recently in which the journalists’ panel won 10 out of 11 seats in the executive body.

Shakeel Anjum of the journalists’ panel was elected president with 1021 votes. Shakeel Qarar of the independent panel got 685 votes.

Anwar Raza of Journalists Panel was elected Secretary-General with 1108 votes, Zaeem Naqvi of Independent Panel got 644 votes, Saghir Chaudhry of Journalists Panel was elected Secretary Finance with 855 votes, Khawar Nawaz Raja of Independent Panel got 671 votes.

Arshad Waheed Chaudhry, Khalil Ahmad Raja, Shah Mohammad and Sadia Kamal won the post of Vice President. Arshad Waheed Chaudhry was elected Senior Vice President with 994 votes. Nadeem Chaudhry, Ehtesham-ul-Haq, Nowshad Abbasi and Shakila Jalil won the post of Joint Secretary. Al-Haq has been elected Senior Joint Secretary with 953 votes.

Matiullah Jan came third among the three presidential candidates in the National Press Club Islamabad elections and lost for the second time in a row.

A total of 2028 votes were cast in the National Press Club Islamabad elections.
