Mubasher Lucman invited as Chief Guest for Christmas celebrations at Naulakha Church

Lahore: Christmas festivities at Nolakha Church invited Mubasher Lucman, the leading spokesperson for minorities, amongst the chief guests at today’s ceremony.

As Christmas approaches, the Christian community all over Pakistan begins preparations for the holy celebration, similarly in Lahore the passionate preparations are in full swing.

Following the tradition, an important event was conducted today at the famous Naulakha Church in Lahore where notable social, political and religious personalities were invited along with Mubasher Lucman, a well-known journalist and leading spokesman for minorities in the field of journalism. Given the event, Mr. Lucman encouraged the Christian community by attending the event and advocating for the rights of Pakistan’s minorities.

It is noteworthy that there are only 4 days left in Christmas Day and for the last several days, the Christian community has been preparing for Christmas with religious fervor and passion, decorating the churches with electric lamps and flowers. Special prayers were offered for national security in the ceremony.

Christmas songs were chanted in the churches, Pastors and Bishops preached peace and brotherhood. Special prayers have been offered for the security and stability of the country during the Christmas celebrations.

Strict security arrangements have been made by the Punjab government on the occasion of Christmas, walk-through gates have been installed outside the churches, Christians have been allowed to enter after searching clothes, the police will remain alert at all times.

It is important to mention that during the proceedings of today’s extraordinary ceremony at Naulakha Church, the program was halted momentarily while the Prayer Call was recited. This act of respect on part of the program’s administration presents a brilliant example of religious fraternity and brotherhood.
