KARACHI, Feb 10 (APP): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday paid surprise visit of the offices of different secretaries at Tughlaq House (old Secretariat) and found most of the senior level officers absent from duty.

Murad Ali Shah expressing his displeasure sought detailed report about late comers and absent officers from the Secretaries of different departments including Home, Agriculture, Labour, Transport, Irrigation, Education, Local Government and Planning and Development (P&D) Department, said a statement.

The chief minister went to his office at New Sindh Secretariat and held a meeting with Secretary General Administration Khalid Hyder Shah and directed him to send a detailed report of the officers present at new and old secretariat.

Later Syed Murad Ali Shah visited under construction car parking between SM law College and SM College near Sindh Secretariat along with Chairman P&D Muhammad Waseem.

The chief minister also inspected sitting area which has been declared as recreational place where tuck shops, coffee shops, fast food restaurants have been established.

Murad Ali Shah directed Chairman P&D to expedite completion of the parking and recreational area.
