While the entire nation was saddened by the death of people in the freezing cold and vehicles were stranded during the snowfall in Murree, a popular tourist destination of Pakistan, showbiz personalities also expressed regret.
According to the details, thousands of tourists were stranded and at least 21 people were killed during the heavy snowfall in Murree. Of the 21 people killed in heavy snowfall in their vehicles, at least two were alongside families, and some of the dead were children and teenagers.
Most of the people who died after being trapped in the snow are between 20 and 30 years old, but some are over 40 years old and some are under 15 years old. TV host Wajahat Kazmi also expressed sadness over the deaths of people during the snowfall in Murree and hoped that the administration would start relief work there soon.

According to Baaghi TV reports, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that one thousand more vehicles would be taken out by evening. All roads leading to Murree have been closed. Only those carrying aid will be allowed to leave. FC, Rangers and Pakistan Army have also been called.
Moreover, the Federal Interior Minister has called on the locals and residents to provide food, blankets and other necessities to the stranded families.

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered the administration, police, rescue officers, and staff of Rescue 1122 to intensify the relief activities and provide necessary relief items and help to the tourists trapped in the snowfall in Murree.
CM Buzdar said that all resources should be used to move tourists to safer places He has further directed the administration to employ additional machinery and personnel to make the rescue operation effective.
