According to the report of Baaghi TV, Mushaal Mullick, wife of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, has said that Syeda Asiya Andrabi, the head of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, is seriously ill due to continuous imprisonment. Asiya Andrabi has been kept on ventilator.
Mushaal Mullick said that India is not providing treatment to Asiya Andrabi, and Indian authorities are not transferring Asiya Andrabi to the hospital. Hurriyat leaders, including Asiya Andrabi, have been detained illegally. Sick leaders need to be transferred to hospitals. The Indian government wants to kill Hurriyat leaders in jails, Kashmiris are being put in jails, the whole world is saying that India should be blacklisted, the world must wake up now.
Mushaal Mullick further said that there is a situation like lockdown due to Corona virus in the world. Indian authorities are taking advantage, their atrocities and massacre of Kashmiris continues. Apa Asiya Andrabi, the head of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, an effective voice against independence and Indian occupation in occupied Kashmir, is seriously ill. Asiya Andrabi’s health suddenly deteriorated and she was shifted on ventilator, she added.
Asiya Andrabi is a supporter of Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan. She has spent most of her life in Indian jails. Asiya Andrabi is the founder of the Kashmiri Women’s Organization, Dukhtaran-e-Millat.
Asiya Andrabi is the most important among the separatist women leaders in Kashmir. Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online. Asiya’s husband, Dr. Qasim Fakto, has also been in jail for 28 years.
It should be noted that the chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syeda Asiya Andrabi has been imprisoned in Delhi since, 2017. She has been arrested by the Modi government on charges of treason for raising the Pakistani flag and chanting slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad”.
On March 25, 2015, Asiya Andrabi waved the Pakistani flag while singing the national anthem of Pakistan in Kashmir. Later that year, on Pakistan’s Independence Day, the Chairperson of the Dukhtaran-e-Millat, waved the Pakistani flag at a ceremony.
On September 12, 2015, freedom fighter Syeda Asiya Andrabi slaughtered a cow and released a video of it singing in Jammu and Kashmir. She has protested, banning the sale of cow meat [beef]. Syeda Asiya Andrabi’s husband Dr. Qasim Fakto is also serving a life sentence.
