NAB issues an order for investigation under Section 27

Lahore, 11th September: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has issued orders to conduct an inquiry into two contracts.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the NAB office at Lahore Thokar Niaz Baig has issued orders to the Administrator of the City District Government Townhall Lahore, for the provision of information under Section 27 of National Accountability Ordinance.

According to the letter issued, it is mentioned that in connection with a complaint being processed in this Bureau, it is requested to provide the following record pertaining to two contracts.

The contracts mentioned are as follow:

‘Spray of Chlorine during COVID-19 pandemic’, and ‘Provision of tents, chairs, masks, sanitizers, and other articles for Kafalat centres’.

It has been ordered to provide the full information regarding the above-mentioned contracts to the Bureau.

The NAB has requested the required departments to depute an officer well conversant with the facts of the cases.

Lahore Rape Case: Village of the accused identified

The full information should be submitted to the office of Mr Iqbal  Hassan, Deputy Director, CVC, NAB Lahore, NAB Complex Thokar Niaz Baig Lahore.

It is pertinent to mention that the record along with the attested copies should be submitted to the office at the date mentioned in the letter.
