Lahore, 3rd June: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) decides to launch a new inquiry into Ishaq Dar’s case.

Baaghi TV: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to launch a new inquiry against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to reports, Ishaq Dar is currently based in London to avoid facing alleged corruption cases in Pakistan.

The decision to initiate a new case against the former minister was taken at a meeting of the NAB’s executive board, which was chaired by Justice Javed Iqbal, chairman of the anti-graft watchdog.

According to a senior NAB official, the new case is related to money laundering. He is already facing a case of ‘assets in excess of income’ in which he has been declared a fugitive.

An official press release issued by the NAB said, “EBM has cleared seven inquiries against various personalities, including former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. Among them is Syed Mehdi Shah, former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Talat Mahmood, the Chief Executive Officer, Zari Development Bank Limited (ZTBL); Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony officials and others include Malik Tanveer Aslam Awan, the Former Member Provincial Assembly Punjab, Nimrah Tanveer, Raheela Asghar, Asghar Nawaz and Messers.
