Friday, June 26th: According to the report of Baaghi TV, NAB Rawalpindi summoned Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on July 6.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah summoned in Sindh Roshan case Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has already recorded his statement in Sindh Roshan case.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has been summoned in the matter of awarding contract for solar lights. According to NAB, rules and regulations were violated in awarding contract for solar lights.

The Sindh Chief Minister had also appeared before the NAB in the Sindh Roshan case on June 4 and had answered NAB’s questions. The NAB had questioned the Sindh Chief Minister for two hours.

After appearing before the NAB investigation team, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah while talking to media had said that NAB had summoned him today in connection with the inquiry in which he had recorded his statement but this inquiry has been done earlier. In 2015-16, a scheme to run solar lights was approved. He had an inquiry. At that time, he was the finance minister of the province.

The Sindh Chief Minister has already appeared before the NAB in the same case in Rawalpindi and has been summoned for the third time. He is accused of illegally awarding contracts for the purchase and distribution of solar lights in Sindh.

The Sindh Chief Minister is also facing other NAB cases including Sugar Mills Subsidy Case and Nooriabad Power Project Case.
