Lahore, 1st June: Today a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee was held to take important decisions regarding lockdown in the country.

Baaghi TV: A meeting of the National Coordinating Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to have a complete lockdown two days a week.

According to sources, important decisions were taken in the meeting of the federal cabinet in view of the coronavirus.

The National Coordinating Committee meeting has decided to have a complete lockdown two days a week. There will be a complete lockdown on Saturday and Sunday, however the businesses will be allowed for 5 days. It was decided at the meeting that shopping centers would be open till 7 pm.

The Ministry of Railways would be able to run 40 trains. The Prime Minister has approved these important decisions taken at the National Coordinating Committee meeting.

It was also decided to expedite the process of repatriation of Pakistanis stranded abroad and said that repatriation of overseas Pakistanis would be ensured without any delay.

It should be noted that the total number of coronavirus patients in Pakistan is up to 72,460 and 1,543 people have died.

The Ministry of Health says that the number of corona cases in Pakistan is expected to reach one lakh and the peak may occur in June.

Special Assistant for Health Zafar Mirza said that corona cases and deaths in Pakistan would increase further in the coming days.
