National Women’s Football Championship: first reported case of corona virus

March 15, 2021: The first case of corona virus has come to light in the National Women’s Football Championship 2021. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has confirmed the positive test of corona virus of Karachi United player.

According to Pakistan Football Federation, Karachi A player in the United team has tested positive for corona virus. Group B matches have been suspended after the player tested positive for corona virus. Pakistan Football Federation’s Karachi United and its rival teams Has been instructed to conduct a full squad test.

Karachi Women FC and HEC, who are playing matches against Karachi United, have also been directed to test the squad. Similarly, Sialkot FC, which is playing matches against Karachi WFC, has also been directed to conduct tests.

According to the spokesperson of the Football Federation, the Pakistan Football Federation will provide financial assistance to the teams for testing. Group B matches will be suspended till the results of the test.
