Nationwide Protests Announced by Wedding Hall Owners: Report
Karachi: The epidemic of corona virus has intensified the opportunities for happiness in Pakistan as well as all over the world. Now various business sectors have opened but the business of marriage halls is still closed.
According to the reports, the issue of closure of wedding halls across the country has become serious. In this regard, the Association of Wedding Hall Owners has called an emergency meeting and announced a nationwide protest on July 13.
The meeting in Karachi was attended online by representatives of marriage hall associations across the country, who were consulted on the issue of opening marriage halls. The meeting decided on the future course of action and considered expanding the scope of the protest.

The meeting also made suggestions regarding protests across the country, it was decided that protests would be held simultaneously across the country, and this protest would take place outside press clubs.
Rana Raees, president of Shadi Hall Association Karachi, said in the meeting that the government had been repeatedly requested but despite this, no hearing was being held. After which they have been forced to adopt a strategy of simultaneous protests across the country.
Rana Raees said that wedding hall owners in all cities of Pakistan will go to press clubs in the form of rallies. Millions of people from all over the country will participate in our demonstrations. We will once again demand the government to open the halls through peaceful protests.
The meeting also urged all marriage hall owners to take care of SOPs during the protest.
