Lahore, 31st August: PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif seeks exemption from his personal appearance before the court.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has sought exemption from attendance on appeals in the Avonfield and Azizia references in the Islamabad High Court.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken a stand in the petition that he is undergoing treatment abroad due to illness. It is not possible to appear due to being abroad.

It is to be noted that earlier in the Tosha Khana reference, the advertisement of summons of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was issued. The advertisement for the summons of Nawaz Sharif was posted in public places. The accountability court says that Nawaz Sharif is deliberately fleeing from the court proceedings.

 

During the hearing on the Tosha Khana reference, the NAB informed the court that former President Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif illegally obtained vehicles from Yousuf Raza Gilani, Asif Zardari paid only 15% of the vehicles, and his money was paid through fake accounts.
