“Naya Pakistan Housing Authority” striving hard to achieve the target of 5m houses

Islamabad, 19th July: There is an acute shortage of houses in the country, present government aimed to construct 5 million houses, this was told by the Ministry to senate body on housing and works on Thursday.
The Committee met under the chair of Senator Mir Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Housing and Works.
Minister for Housing and Works, Tariq Bashir Cheema informed the committee that there is a shortage of 11 million houses in the country, according to the vision of Prime Minister present government trying hard to build 5 million houses.
“Naya Pakistan Housing Authority” is working day and night on the project in a transparent manner, any corruption would not be tolerated” he added.
Minister told the committee that the form for Naya Pakistan Housing made easy for general public, they were asked about their income in the form.
The Project would benefit 42 industries working in the country, and also increase the employment opportunities.
