Naya Rivera’s disappearance reveals the dark past of the lake
12th July: The American actress from the series ‘Glee’ disappeared recently while on a boat trip with her son to the Lake Piru.
Naya Rivera’s disappearance has unleashed a wave of terror amongst her fans, fellow industry insiders as well as the general public.
According to reports, the Glee actress went on a boat trip with her 4-year-old son Josey earlier this week on Wednesday. They had headed towards Lake Piru in Southern California.

As per the 4-year-old Josey, his mother had gone for a swim but never returned. While the search for the actress continues, many reports have emerged about the dark secret regarding the lake. It is believed that dark history is related to the Lake Piru, from where the actress is said to have drowned.
The lake is situated in a reservoir in southern California where multiple other deaths have also been reported due to accidents believed to be similar in nature as Rivera’s case.
It is being said that such accidents occur at the lake due to factors like low visibility, debris, strong winds, whirlpools, and cold water temperatures.

In a press conference, Ventura County Sheriff officer Chris Dyer also cited the same dangerous reasons as to why the search for the actor had to be paused at night.
“Were talking during the day 8 to 10 inches of visibility in the lake, lots of debris, full-sized trees and debris under the water and varying depths,” he said.
A recreation manager has told LA Times that a dozen deaths had been reported at the site during the 23-year period in which he worked there.
