NCOC announces ease in coronavirus restrictions across the country #baaghi

Lahore, 10th June: The government of Pakistan announces ease of coronavirus restrictions in the country, businesses will close for one day only, it said.

It was decided in the NCOC meeting that now the businesses will be closed for one day only instead of two days a week, the provinces will decide on which day the business is to be closed.

The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has also relaxed the 50 percent work-from-home policy and said that people will now be able to continue working in offices with 100 percent attendance.

The NCOC has also decided to end the two-day ban on inter-provincial transport.

The ban on 50 percent passengers on public transport has been eased, now 70 percent passengers will be allowed on public transport.

According to the NCOC, shrines and cinemas will remain closed, only certain non-contact sports activities will be allowed.

However, a ban on karate, boxing, mixed martial arts, rugby, kabaddi, wrestling will remain in place.

Festivals, cultural and other such events will remain closed too, as per the notification issued by NCOC.

The NCOC says the corona vaccination certificate verification procedure will be finalized by the end of June.

These decisions of the NCOC will be implemented from June 15.
