NCOC announces Eid holidays amidst restrictions

Lahore, 29th April: An official announcement regarding the Eid holidays has been issued amidst the restrictions to follow.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has announced Eid holidays and restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic wave in the country.

The NCOC has announced that the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will start from May 10 to 15.
The purpose of the most number of holidays for Eid is to limit the movement of people.
NCOC has issued orders that all markets, shops, businesses, amusement parks, public parks, shopping malls will be closed from May 8 to 16 under the “Stay Home Stay Safe” strategy.
There will also be a ban on stalls for henna, jewelry and clothes.
NCOC said that all entertainment venues and hotels around them will remain close.
Private cars, rickshaws and taxis will ride with 50 percent of passengers and additional trains will run until May 7.
