NCOC decides to further expediate the vaccination process in the country

Pakistan achieves its COVID-19 vaccination target by year end

Because of the increasing number of corona cases in the country, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided to further expedite the vaccination process in the country.

Baaghi TV: The NCOC has reduced the interval between the first and second doses of all types of vaccines from 42 days to 28 days. The decision was made in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Medical Affairs.

The NCOC has declared full vaccination mandatory for air travel after September 10. The partial certificate of vaccination will not be valid after September 10. The NCOC informed all the provinces about these decisions.

The NCOC has described the early completion of the vaccination process as extremely useful in preventing the growing spread of the epidemic and reducing its effects.

It should be noted that 81 people have died due to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Pakistan. During the last 24 hours, 64,690 corona tests were conducted across the country as a result of which 4,856 cases of the corona were reported. Corona positive cases accounted for 7.50%.

According to the NCOC, the total number of corona cases across the country was 1,080,360 while the total number of deaths due to corona across the country rose to 24,085.

The number of cases of Corona in Sindh is 43,964, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 149,532, in Punjab 367,054, in Islamabad 91,672, in Balochistan 31,298, in Azad Kashmir 27,899 and Gilgit-Baltistan has reached 8,941.

The highest number of deaths due to corona was in Punjab where 11,256 people lost their lives while 6,275 in Sindh, 4,588 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 822 in Islamabad, 158 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 332 in Balochistan, and 654 in Azad Kashmir.
