NCOC to review its school resuming modalities amid surge in coronavirus cases

Lahore, 8th march: With the alarming increase in coronavirus cases in the past week in Pakistan, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to review the school resuming modalities.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, on Monday NCOC has decided to revisit its school opening method in its next morning session.

According to reports, the NCOC meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, where updates from the provinces on rising positivity, corresponding actions, vaccination progress, and national vaccine strategy were discussed.

The officials also considered delaying the opening up of cinemas, indoor weddings, and dine-in restaurants, which were expected to reopen from March 15.

However, a decision in this regard has not been announced yet.

According to earlier reports, last month, the NCOC had decided to loosen some of the coronavirus restrictions that were in place previously.

However, NCOC had aid that the decisions will be reviewed in view of increased virus cases whenever needed.
