New Delhi requests Pakistani Airspace access for Modi.

Indian government formally requested for access to Pakistani airspace for PM Modi on June 13.

According to the reports of Baaghitv, the Indian government requested Pakistan to allow PM Narendra Modi’s aircraft to fly over Pakistani airspace on June 13.The requisition, dispatched by the Indian High Commission, outlined that Modi would like to access Pakistan’s airspace while flying to Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek.

Both Indian and Pakistani Prime Ministers, Narendra Modi and Imran Khan,  are scheduled to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Kyrgyzstan on June 13 and 14.

Pakistan has closed its airspace along the eastern border with India after the February 27 stand-off between the two arch-rival nations and it has extended the closure till June 14.
