New Test Captain Reveals His Top Priority

LAHORE (18th Oct, 2019): New Test captain of Pakistan cricket team, Azhar Ali has revealed that his top priority is to build the right culture in the team.

According to details, Azhar Ali has revealed his top priority as a Test captain of national cricket team. He said “I shall transfer my experience and prepare players to play fearless cricket and the idea is that how to cope with different challenges. There is no doubt in that winning is also important but my top priority is to build the right culture in the team,”

He further said “It is easy for others to comment that i am a defensive captain, but the reality is it depends on combination of the team, and that drives the way you captain the side.”

Reportedly, Azhar Ali has been appointed national cricket team captain for Pakistan’s World Test Championship matches in the 2019-20 season.
