New Zealand engaged a security specialist for the visit to Pakistan

Security consultant from the New Zealand Cricket Board will travel to Pakistan to assess the procedures.

In September and October, the New Zealand cricket team will play a whiteball cricket series in Pakistan.

New Zealand will examine security procedures prior to the cricket visit of Pakistan, according to reports.

New Zealand has employed a security expert in this area. Rigg Dixon, a security specialist, will visit Pakistan next month to assess the situation.

Rigg Dixon would look at the plans for matches in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, according to sources.

New Zealand Cricket has shown an interest in visiting Pakistan, however the tour will be confirmed after the security expert’s report is received.

Pakistan and New Zealand have three T20 and three ODI series scheduled, but the PCB has also offered two additional T20 matches in preparation for the World Cup.

The last time the New Zealand cricket team visited Pakistan was in 2003.
