No board exam fee for orphans and differently-abled: FBISE

Dec 31, 2021:  The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) waived examination fees for orphans, students with disabilities and prisoners.

This development came to light during a meeting chaired by FBISE Chairman Qaiser Alam here. The meeting decided that the board would not charge for the marksheet issued at the place of disappearance and would issue a temporary certificate free of cost.

It also decided to hold annual examinations in May, June and November next year and 50 per cent marks would be given to the students who scored 49.6 per cent marks in the board examinations.
