Non-bailable arrest warrants issued for Nawaz Sharif
Lahore, 17th September: A non-bailable arrest warrant of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been sent to the Foreign Secretary.
According to Baaghi TV, the Foreign Office was ordered to comply with the warrant through the High Commission in the UK, the court said.
In order to ensure Nawaz Sharif’s presence on September 22 and other dates, the warrants were sent to the Foreign Secretary by the Assistant Registrar, headed by Justice Amir Farooq. A two-member bench had issued non-bailable arrest warrants.

It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif’s petitions were rejected in the Islamabad High Court, the court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Nawaz Sharif.
Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani had delivered the verdict. The court has rejected Nawaz Sharif’s petitions. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected petitions seeking exemption from attendance and appointment of a representative.
The court has ordered the arrest and production of Nawaz Sharif. Non-bailable arrest warrants of Nawaz Sharif were issued for September 22. Proceedings to declare Nawaz Sharif a fugitive was initiated and the request for follow-up through a representative was also rejected.

The NAB has asked the court to cancel Nawaz Sharif’s bail in the Avonfield reference. Nawaz Sharif’s request for cancellation of bail was filed as a precautionary measure, on which the court said that the hearing on Nawaz Sharif’s request for exemption from attendance should be heard first.

Khawaja Harris said that he wanted to say that Nawaz Sharif could not appear in the court at the moment, to which the court said that you want the hearing on the appeals to be adjourned, or to hear them in the absence of Nawaz Sharif. Khawaja Harris said, “This is my request to the court. The court said that even if we declare Nawaz Sharif a fugitive, the appeal will still be heard.”
Additional Prosecutor General told the court that the court had ordered Nawaz Sharif to surrender, Nawaz Sharif’s petitions are inadmissible. On which the court said that Nawaz Sharif’s bail has expired in the Azizia reference, it is an accepted fact that Nawaz Sharif did not appear in court.

Khawaja Harris informed the court that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif could not appear because he is undergoing treatment in London and is not in a condition to return.
Islamabad High Court has granted bail to Nawaz Sharif. Lahore High Court removed Nawaz Sharif’s name from ECL.
However, the Punjab government has rejected Nawaz Sharif’s bail. The court remarked that the matter related to the return of Nawaz Sharif is also pending in the Lahore High Court.
