ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the bail plea of the parents of main accused Zahir Jaffer in the Noor Muqaddam murder case and directed the lower court to complete the trial within eight weeks.
According to details, the bail application of the parents of Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Muqadam murder case, was heard in the Islamabad High Court. During the hearing, the court delivered a reserved verdict on the bail application of Zahir Jaffer’s parents. The verdict was pronounced in open court.

It may be recalled that Justice Amir Farooq of the IHC had reserved judgment on the bail application of the parents of the main accused Zahir Jaffer on September 23 after completion of arguments and remarked that this case would decide the future of criminal cases in our country. Everyone has to see how to combine factual evidence.
During the hearing, lawyer Shah Khawar had said that we did not include unnecessary witnesses in the case, there are 18 witnesses in which there are only two private witnesses, we will complete the trial very soon without bail.

Advocate Shah Khawar said that according to the evidence, the parents were in touch with the accused. They are related to the crime. They will cross-examine the evidence that we will bring in the trial.
