Accused murderer of Noor Muqaddam and Pakistani industrialist Zahir Jaffer was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate for further remand on July 26, 2021 (today) under strict security protocols.
According to the details, the accused killer Zahir Jaffer was produced in the Islamabad court under strict security arrangements, a heavy contingent of police was deployed outside the court. Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in Noor Muqaddam murder case, has been handed over to the police for a further two-day physical remand. The court ordered the police to interrogate the accused and produce him again on July 28, 2021.
Another significant progress in the Noor Muqaddam murder case is that Islamabad police has added four more provisions in the case. The lawsuit now included provisions for aiding and abetting a crime, concealing a crime and covering up the evidence.

Police added that provisions for removing evidence or giving false information have also been added to determine the cause of death. However, after the arrest of more accused in the case, it has been decided to add new provisions.

It may be recalled that Islamabad police had arrested two security guards including the parents of accused Zahir Jaffer in the Noor Muqaddam murder case while also recording the detailed statement of Noor Muqaddam’s father Shaukat Muqaddam.
In the light of the statement of Noor Muqaddam’s father, the accused’s father Zakir Jaffer, mother Asmat Adamjee and their two domestic servants were also interrogated. Employees were arrested on charges of concealing evidence and aiding and abetting crime.
Earlier, the court had remanded the accused killer Zahir Jaffer to the police on a two-day physical remand while the administration decided to seal the Therapyworks of the accused Zahir Jaffer. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat had issued sealing orders. However, few moments later, the owner of Therapyworks was also arrested for investigation in the murder case.
