The initial FIR was registered only on the charge of murder, however, twenty-two days after the incident, the provisions of rape and kidnapping were added. According to the lawyer, the crime scene was the personal house of the accused but no evidence was presented in this regard. Salman Safdar was of the view that there was no eyewitness to the incident and all the evidence is merely circumstantial.

During the hearing, Justice Hashim Kakar remarked that judges should bear a little pain, it is not possible for them to accept the appeal and then not hear the case. He said that there have been instances of people living in the death cells for ten years, now it will not be like this, if the second bench at 11:30 does not break up, then the Noor Muqaddam case will be heard at one o’clock, otherwise the hearing will be held first.
