Aug 4, 2021: In the latest development in the Zahir Jaffer murder trial, in which he killed Noor Muqaddam, the court has reserved the decision on bail plea of ​​accused Zahir Jaffer’s parents.

The court reserved judgment on completion of arguments of the parties. Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Sohail said that the reserved judgment would be pronounced tomorrow. The parents of accused Zahir Jaffer are in Adiala jail on judicial remand.

Earlier, according to the news agency, Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Muqadam murder case, fell ill in jail and was rushed to PIMS Hospital. He also prescribed some medicines after the police officials transferred Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Muqadam murder case, to Adiala Jail after conducting a medical examination.

It should be noted the daughter of the former ambassador was killed earlier this year. The victim’s father said that a call came from Kohsar police station at night that Noor Muqaddam had been killed and when he reached the spot, his daughter’s throat was cut.

According to the FIR registered in Kohsar, Shaukat Ali Muqaddam in his statement told the police that on July 19, Noor Muqaddam left home in the absence of her family and they were informed at night that she was going to Lahore with friends. That was the last her family heard from the victim.
