The district administration has imposed Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in North Waziristan tribal district for a period of not less then one month.
According to a statement issued by the DA, Section 144 was imposed in North Waziristan in the wake of prevailing dangerous situation of law and order in the District.
Under Section 144, all rallies, sit-ins, gathering of more than five people and holding public meetings have been banned to maintain law and order situation in North Waziristan.
North Waziristan has Section 144 imposed for a month.
