Amina Janjua, chairperson Defence of Human Rights called on DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor on Friday.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Amina Janjua, chairperson Defence of Human Rights called on DG Inter Services Public Relation to discuss issue of missing persons. He said all missing persons should not be attributed to State as some militants are killed in military zone fighting and some have left the country and are hiding in Afghanistan.

Not every person missing is attributable to state. Many are there as part of TTP in Afg/ elsewhere or got killed fighting as part of TTP. Those with state are under legal process. Speaking on the occasion, Ghafoor said thise who are under custody of state are being treated under the law of state and are given due legal facility to hire the services of counsel for pleading their case in courts. Ghafoor informed Janjua about the cell created for missing persons working under Constitution.
Janjua acknowledged the state and security forces’ efforts and for their empathy and support.
