Occupied Kashmir: Indian military official abducted, vehicle set on fire


According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Unidentified gunmen kidnap an Indian military official in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

Police have not issued a statement regarding the abduction of the Indian soldier.

According to the South Asian Wire news agency, unidentified gunmen set fire to the vehicle of an Indian Army personnel in the Territorial near Rambahama Nahama in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir last evening. The soldier was later abducted

The Indian Army and police are investigating the matter. Shakir Manzoor Vege, a 24-year-old army officer, was first set on fire and his car was later abducted.

The officer is currently attached to the Territorial Army’s Rangareth Srinagar camp and had come home to celebrate the Eid holiday.
