Lahore, 26th April: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has sent recommendations to the government regarding the holidays during Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to reports, NCOC on Monday recommended seven holidays to the Interior Ministry on Eid-ul-Fitr.

The NCOC has proposed that the Eid holidays be extended from May 10 to 16.

The Home Ministry will send a summary of the holidays to the Federal Cabinet, which will then issue a notification only after its approval.

According to the latest information, the Ministry of Interior has released its notification regarding the Eid holidays in 2021.

As per the press release, the ministry has announced 5 days of official holidays from May 13 to May 17, which start on Thursday and end on Monday.

It should be noted that last year the Interior Ministry had announced six holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the notification also stated that all major business centers, public places, community markets, and shops would remain closed during the holidays.
