Oil tanker crashes on national highway, motorway police in action

According to Baaghi TV, timely action was taken by the motorway police when an oil tanker crashed near Renala Khurd on the national highway.

According to a spokesman for the motorway police, the oil tanker collided with another trailer due to lack of safe middle distance. The injured oil tanker driver was shifted to hospital by Motorway police. The oil tanker contains 60,000 liters of petrol.

According to a spokesman for the motorway police, the motorway police have secured the oil tanker. Rescue operations are underway to remove the oil tanker. All rescue agencies have been notified.

Earlier, in a successful operation, Motorway Police recovered two stolen vehicles and arrested one accused while handing over a missing ladies purse to the owners.

Motorway police was informed that a vehicle Honda Civic number LED 680 has been stolen from Satellite Town Sargodha area. Upon receiving the information, Motorway Police became alert. The vehicle was chased near Chakri and the accused was successfully stopped and the accused Abu Bakar, a resident of Sargodha, was arrested.

The accused along with the vehicle was handed over to Chakri Chowki Police Station for further legal action.
