Dear Mian Sahib,

We know you are struggling day in and day out. Your steps in the field of academia are being lauded.

The private schools, the colleges, and the universities in their own way are perceived as the unbridled horses. Except for a few, majority is of those educational institutions which are making students and their parents pay through their noses.

[bs-quote quote=”Why does a student upon his or her admission to a private university have to go through the ordeal of inordinate delays when one rightfully becomes or qualified to get a degree from the very institutions that he may be getting education from. The laws must be strict enough to be enforced in letter and spirit.” style=”style-17″ align=”center” color=”#dd0000″ author_name=”Mian Haroon Masood” author_job=”Pakistani Political Leader”][/bs-quote]

The HEC comes into operation after the students get admitted, into a particular educational institution. HEC should not be locking the stables after a horse is stolen away. They must step up their efforts when an institution is in its embryonic stage but, not after it starts running and is in its full bloom. At the time of awarding of the degrees in most of the cases. One problem or the other crops up making the lives of the parents miserable. The practice to overlook and undermine the laws of the land by the owners of the universities is now a common occurrence.

Hoodwinking and circumvention seems to be the order of the day.

Sir your timely intervention will be a reprieve for the victims who fall prey to the vicious system and the unholy practices which seem to have taken root now. Your presence as a CJ is a blessing for the majority who are always willing to welcome you rapturously where ever you may go. The judicial overreach to my understanding is only due to the under reach of the civil administrative authorities who fail to deliver in most of the cases.

We do appreciate, for yours is an unshakable resolve. The only possible solution to this vexatious problem is that the owners of the universities must be summoned once and for all and ordered to comply with the prescribed rules. These owners are rolling in riches. They have to be cautioned and reprimanded. Those who are not conscientious of their duties. They have to be asked what is the measure for any of the private universities to charge inexorably high fees.

There has to be some semblance of reasonability. We appreciate the timely stand taken by your good self as far as the fee structure of all medical colleges is concerned. We request you to do the same for all privately owned academic institutions.

Coronavirus could cost Australian universities ‘billions’

Please arrange to have the owners of the privately owned institutions summoned. Without them the matter will just be hanging in the balance. It has to be dinned into their ears to either comply with the rules, streamline their fee structure or just leave. In universities, state of the art and top of the line equipment must be installed as students deserve this facility every step of the way. I am a son of the same soil only highlighting matters from time to time that I consider necessary to be mentioned before you. The least that I can do. Hoping for a better Pakistan. May God give you the strength.
