Open Letter to the Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan

Dear Mr. Khan the honorable PM of Pakistan being an overseas Pakistani I want to bring this thing into your attention that we have always helped and supported Pakistan as and when required in terms of foreign remittances, charity, financial and moral support etc.

But we haven’t received any support from your Government and neither from your team of overseas Pakistanis help desk.

In fact our life has become miserable by paying extra taxes on our mobile phones which is a painful and unnecessary rule and that’s only in Pakistan in the entire world, airports are still a chaos whenever you have to fly back and forth from the country where on the other side world has advanced and capitalized on digitalization to make travel convenient at airports for its people.

Not even a single mortgage facility to invest in Pakistan real estate has been introduced for overseas Pakistanis to invest in the countries’ real estate in-fact all financial institutions are discouraging overseas Pakistanis to take mortgages in the country where as it should be more friendly to them and it will bring in a lot of foreign exchange into the country.

Banking sector is a collapse as we are more worried as if we can send money to Pakistan it’s more difficult to repatriate money back as and when required.

Now with this Corona issue overseas Pakistanis when they come back they have to stay in a hotel to self quarantine them which is a very foolish and inappropriate measure however, we should be having digital thermometers at the airport which can check body temperature of people and if somebody is sick then an appropriate measure should be taken.

Above are just few highlights out of hundreds of unresolved issues.

I assume for us it’s now time to think that Pakistan is not our home anymore and we should stop thinking about it till we have leaders like you in this country who can’t fix simple basic issues for us.

Mr. Khan “no more” moment is started by us for you and your Government and it will go in the entire world as you and your team has proven useless for us.
