The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League reiterates its commitment to the national constitution, peace and political process. In a statement issued to the media, Hafiz Talha Saeed, vice president of Markazi Muslim League said, “On behalf of my party , I reaffirm its foundational commitment to making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state through political and peaceful struggle within the constitutional framework of Pakistan”. He reaffirmed that, “Pakistan Markazi Muslim League hereby issues a definitive statement of principle, unequivocally rejecting all kinds of violence, extremism, and hatred in all its forms.

We are a political and Democratic Party. We are taking this step to reaffirm our core values and to address the unsubstantiated claims and vilification campaign against our party and to reaffirm that we will counter all threats to the foundations and welfare of our country through our peaceful struggle within the constitutional structure of Pakistan”. Elaborating on the formation of the party Hafiz Talha said, “Our party was founded on the belief that robust, respectful struggle and peacefully protesting for political freedoms and rights through debate and the ballot box are the legitimate means to achieve political change. We believe in the power of ideas, not violence ; in persuasion, not coercion; in peace, not terror.” He also said, “Pakistan needs a healthy democracy and a vibrant economy, which can only be achieved through a competition of ideas, a peaceful political process and peaceful political struggle within the confines of law”.
Speaking on the global and regional security issues he said, “We have a constitutional and a political right for peaceful protest and political struggle for rights of Kashmiris and their freedom in accordance with UN resolutions. We affirm our commitment to exercise this right through peaceful means , within the framework of the Constitution of Pakistan. Therefore, the international community must allow and respect our right to disagree with unlawful and illegal occupation of Kashmir by Indian occupying forces, and to oppose Indian aggression and violence in Kashmir without questioning our allegiance to peace”.

Hafiz Talha reiterated that his party stands for peaceful democratic engagement and struggle for freedoms. On the matter of extremism and violence he said, “We condemn and renounce the use of violence, threats, or intimidation for any political purposes in Baluchistan and KPK provinces perpetrated by Indian sponsored individuals, organized groups, and non- state actors acting outside the rule of law. We reject extremist ideologies that seek to undermine democratic institutions of Pakistan and promote conspiracy theories and disinformation. We stand against all forms of bigotry, including those based on race, religion, national origin, or political belief”.
Inviting all parties and people from all walks of life to his vision he said,”We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the Constitution of Pakistan , the independence of the judiciary, and the integrity of our electoral process.
We call on all political parties, leaders, and citizens to join us in elevating political discourse and join our political and peaceful struggle for a prosperous Pakistan . We commit to engaging in good-faith debates on the critical issues facing our nation—from economic prosperity to national security—while always respecting the legitimacy of our political process and our fellow citizens”.

He further explained, “This is not a sign of weakness, but a declaration of strength and clarity. Our vision for our country is one of unity, progress, and shared prosperity”.
