Lahore, 2nd June: Advocate Hassaan Niazi has said that their struggle for justice will continue in Uzma Khan’s torture case.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, in Uzma Khan’s case, the news of reconciliation is circulating. In this regard, Hassaan Niazi has tweeted that, “We understand the status of our clients, they want justice but the system allows powerful aggressors to do as they please, without any accountability. I pray that the day will come when the law will be equal for all. Our fight for justice continues.”

Matters have been settled in Uzma Khan torture case. Khadija Siddiqui, a lawyer for the tortured actress-model Khan and her sister Huma Khan, has confirmed the reconciliation between the parties.

At the same time, she has announced being separated from the case. Barrister Khadija Siddiqui has announced in her Twitter message that “we are parting ways with Uzma Khan’s case. I understand the reason for the settlement between the two women but still my conscience does not allow me to be a part of it. Even if it is from a professional point of view.”
It may be mentioned that the police had registered a case against Malik Riaz’s daughter Amna Usman and his wife Malik Usman while announcing action in the case. According to sources, the case was registered at Defense Sector C Lahore Police Station.
In this case, Amna Usman Malik and daughters of Malik Riaz have been charged. The FIR states that Malik Riaz’s daughters barged in Uzma Khan’s house and started torturingand abusing the model and her sister.
