Massive Reshuffle in Islamabad Police, 12 Top Cops Transferred

A few days after the new Inspector General (IG) took charge, over 550 First Information Reports (FIRs) of theft and robbery have been registered in the federal capital Islamabad in a single day.

According to the details, the law and order situation in Islamabad has deteriorated drastically. Few days before, a robbery took place in front of IG Islamabad’s house in broad daylight, after which he was transferred and replaced by Ahsan Younis from Lahore.

Baaghi TV has learnt from reliable sources that 554 FIRs have been registered in the federal capital in different crimes like theft, robbery and the police is acting as a silent spectator.

Over 550 cases of theft and robbery have been registered in various police stations of the federal capital with most cases (62) being registered in Bhara Kahu Police Station. Around 40 cases were registered in Aabpara Police Station, 53 cases in Secretariat Police Station, 40 in Kohsar Police Station, 11 cases in Margalla Police Station, 16 cases in G9 Police Station Karachi Company and 20 cases in Golra Police Station.

However, the count doesn’t end here. Seventeen (17) cases have been registered in Tarnol Police Station, 3 cases in Ramna Police Station, 42 cases in Shalimar Police Station, 18 in I-9 Police Station, 9 cases in Sabzi Mandi Police Station, 11 cases in Shams Colony Police Station and 15 cases in Shahzad Town Police Station.

Moreover, 30 FIRs were registered at Police Station Sadar Khanna, 44 cases registered at Coral Police Station, 60 in Lohi Bher Police Station, 42 cases in Sihala Police Station, 19 in Nellore Police Station and last but not the least, 6 FIRs were registered in Police Station Noon.

It is to be remembered that Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Lahore Ahsan Younis has been posted as IG Police Islamabad after Qazi Jameel was removed from his post on December, 6, 2021, under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, with immediate effect and until further orders.
