Pak Army: First female officer promoted as Lt. Gen
ISPR PRESS RELEASE, 30th June: Major General Nigar Johar, HI (M) has been promoted as Lieutenant General.
According to a Baaghi TV report, she is the 1st female officer from the Pakistan Army to be promoted as Lieutenant General.
It is a great honor as she is has been appointed as 1st female Surgeon General of Pakistan Army.

As per sources, Lieutenant General Nigar Johar hails from Panjpai, District Swabi KPK.
She is currently serving as Commandant Military Hospital Rawalpindi.
