Pak Army responds to the Indian shelling on LoC

Lahore, 12th April: Indiscriminate shelling by the Indian Troops on Line of Control continues injuring many civilians.

According to the ISPR, the Indian Army violated the ceasefire late at night near the LoC and Working Boundary in Chirikot and Shakargarh sectors and deliberately targeted the civilian population.

Due to the indiscriminate fire of mortars in the Chirikot sector along the LoC, a 35-year-old innocent citizen of Sirian village was injured in the Shikargarh sector along the working boundary. A 57-year-old resident of village Nangal is also critically injured.

Violations at LOC by Indian Troops

Both the injured have been evacuated and are being provided with medical help. The statement said that Pak Army personnel responded strongly to India’s provocation and targeted the military checkpoints from which the firing was carried out.

Indian Army has violated the ceasefire agreement 708 times in the past 4 months, resulting in 42 civilian casualties and 2 killed.

Later in another Twitter message, DG ISPR reported that the Indian Army has resumed unprovoked firing in the Nakial sector and deliberately targeted the civilian population to which the Pak Army responded vigorously.

It was reported that two more civilians, including an 18-year-old girl, were injured in the firing of the Indian Army, thus the injured was shifted to nearby hospitals for medical help in 24 hours.
