UK – July 21, 2025 — (Press Release) The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has earned international acclaim by sweeping the top honors at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious military aviation events held annually in the United Kingdom.
Held from July 18 to 20 at RAF Fairford, RIAT 2025 brought together air forces from around the globe. This year, the PAF stood out prominently, securing two major awards that underscore its professionalism, technical capability, and international standing.

The JF‑17 Thunder Block‑III, Pakistan’s multi-role fighter aircraft, won the coveted “Spirit of the Meet” Trophy. This honor is awarded to the aircraft that best exemplifies the ethos of the airshow. Judges lauded the JF‑17 for its bold paint scheme, precision aerial displays, and its impressive nonstop journey from Pakistan, made possible through in-flight refueling.
In the static display category, the PAF’s C‑130H Hercules transport aircraft earned the “Concours d’Élégance” Trophy, awarded for the best-presented aircraft on the ground. The Hercules captivated audiences with its unique “Eyes in the Skies” paintwork and immaculate detailing.
